I doubt that. It'll probably have little to no effect on the amount of work published under his name.

That's a shame. I rather enjoyed his novels. And at such a (relatively) young age, too

I never read any of his books, but he inspired some pretty decent movies.

/Salute/ to a true workman author. He was never what I'd call a "great" writer, but he was consistently "good" and certainly consistent and constant in his work.

I remember reading Red Storm Rising when it still was a possibility. He was a great author and shall be missed.

The Jack Ryan novels don't have the "Tom Clancy's" tagline, so I believe they're among the ones actually written by him.

That's a shame. His books stopped being good years ago though. Of course they stopped being "his books" years ago, too.

He wasn't even that old, 66 is a relatively young age nowadays to die.

I'm personally hoping to snuff it at around 70/80 dependent on health conditions, but i liked his work quite a lot.

CIA got him cause he was disclosing classified info and government secrets in his books.

You shall probably thanks the co author Larry Bond for that (this is a joke but it is some truth in it) if Clancy did write it alone US armor (alone) will crush USSR attack in west Germany in the first week and capture Moscow one month later and win WW3.....

Sad to day so fairly young.
