I think i'll give mine to Cataclysm. Underwhelming. cringey. recycling the WC3 age of mortals thing because either they forgot about they did it already or couldn't think of anything original. did not like.

Cata . . . well, Cata didn't have many redeeming qualities to begin with but the goddamn green jesus man . . . I miss the awesome Thrall from WCIII, rather than the Mary Sue Thrall of Cata.

Diablo 3. Leah is Diablo? That's just stupid. Tyrael the "Archangel of Wisdom" my ass. Dude gets into an argument, falls to the earth, which awakens thousands of undead, resulting in thousands of people slaughtered, and he's the Archangel of Wisdom? Seriously?

ME 3. 5 minutes of total crap that didn't even made sense, didn't fit ME3 theme at all.

The endings really should've been like an hour long each. That being said... with the extended cut, which is free and easily accessible, I will say that a lot of TERRIBLE things were definitely cleared up.


AND with the Extended cut, the Control ending is pretty darn cool.

Beyond that, any grievances with the endings surely can be alleviated by the sheer scope, span and awesomeness that the series itself presented?



also, I feel like this thread is going to wind up becoming a "Discuss the ME3 Endings thread" since that's the only "Ending" that's controversial on any level that most people can recall in recent memory.



I honestly don't play to many video games, so my pool from which I can take experiences is very slim and Me3 is the only game I can actually remember that had some-what of a 'bad' ending, the original endings were probably the worst endings of all time, yes ... but the CE did clear a lot of stuff up. (though they were still far from what they could've been).

The ending itself was pretty bad and very WTF, but then those 3 words appeared, making it into the worst ending EVER: "to be continued"

I'm going to have to say no to that. Imagine your watching your favorite film for the first time all over again, except I removed the last ten minutes of the film and replaced it with non-stop farting noises. Would it still be your favorite film, or would you say the ending ruined it?

The original ending of Fallout 3, before DLCs or anything.

The game just ended when you chose who would die, and of course you weren't going to pick yourself. It was so stupid that an open world game would force you to start a new playthrough.

Kotor 2 is up there for me, one of the worst endings i ever seen, if you can even call it an ending with that kind of closure, more like they cut out the ending and ended the game in the middle of the final mission.

I tough Torchlight 2 always kinda sucked, no real "yay" fealing. But I don't really play it for the story anyway (All boss fights inn the game and story is kinda...meh)

Need for Speed 2 - Every time I completed this game, the very last race has always been pathetic easy, where you win with like 20 sec's even on hard...Where as other races on hard requires some veerrry good racing, atleast so good I struggled with it when I was younger.

...Thats just 2 games I tough off quickly.

He had shaman powers and used an artifact. He also had the Aspects helping him to. So it wasn't just him alone. Not to mention in that video Thrall didn't use any Shaman powers and just used the Doomhammer. Kind of out of context use there.

XS - you win the tournament, only for your supposed friend to show up in your cockpit as you leave the planet, who kills you and takes the money.

Half-Life 1/2 and any expacs apart from Blue Shift - as you get detained indefinitely by the villian on most occasions.
