Have you ever seen a blue moon? The color blue

I told my gf the other day about how I saw a real blue moon one time when I was younger on the way home. It was really pretty. She keeps thinking im referring to the term blue moon. So, I want to know how many of you have seen a blue moon too.

Silvery, yes. White; lots. White moon in a blue sky? All the time. Yellow and even red, yes.
    But actually blue? No...

I didn't think it was possible. Of course; it is possible to remember seeing a blue moon. Now I'm interested... Off to Google!

It's possible. The reason for it would be ash in the air from a volcanic event, or maybe some other such form of pollution. Normally, though, the moon is not blue.

If you hold up some blue cellophane you can see a blue moon.

No, I have not, but I have tasted blue moon icecream, and it is phenomenal.

Twice. But I'm in my 60's. I understand there is a green moon too - but these were a very light pastel blue that I blinked to make sure I was actually seeing it. It lasted for hours too. But I do know two moons in one calendar month are called a blue moon. I don't mean that.
