    How would this run WoW?

I'd like a laptop for around this price, how would this handle WoW?

Also do laptop coolers with plug in sockets instead of USB exist? I've had one USB cooler and it was terrible and I'd like something strong to make sure the laptop stays cool.

Link is broken. Can't quite tell which G500 configuration you're referring to.
    Gaming: Dual Intel Pentium III Coppermine @ 1400mhz + Blue Orb | Asus CUV266-D | GeForce 2 Ti + ZF700-Cu | 1024mb Crucial PC-133 | Whistler Build 2267
    Media: Dual Intel Drake Xeon @ 600mhz | Intel Marlinspike MS440GX | Matrox G440 | 1024mb Crucial PC-133 @ 166mhz | Windows 2000 Pro

It'll... run wow. Thats about it. The video card isn't really designed for gaming, so you'll likely be limited to Medium at best. Raids will be meh at best.

As far as coolers go, you really shouldn't need one these days. Any laptop that is functioning correctly shouldn't overheat enough to warrant it.

Thank you. Do you know of a good laptop that can run WoW decently? I plan on building a desktop with a $1000 budget but still prefer a laptop.

Something like this would probably be your best bet in that price range:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834312830

AMD's APUs are far more capable than Intel's integrated chips. The next step up would be something with a 750m in it, but those will run you around $200 extra.
    i7-4770k - GTX 780 Ti - 16GB DDR3 Ripjaws - (2) HyperX 120s / Vertex 3 120
    ASRock Extreme3 - Sennheiser Momentums - Xonar DG - EVGA Supernova 650G - Corsair H80i

This. In the lower budget section, AMD APUs are the best option for gaming. While the Intel CPUs are faster, their integrated GPU is worse so the AMDs give you a better balanced system and thus better performance in most games.

    Alternative to glo's suggestion: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834312829
Basically the same one, but with the A10 and $80 more instead, which should provide you with about 20% better overall gaming performance.
Why do something simple, when there is a complicated way?
    Ryzen 7 2700X | BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 | 16GB DDR4-3200 | MSI X470 Gaming Pro | MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X 8G | 500GB / 750GB Crucial SSD
Fractal Define C | LG 32UK550 | Das Model S Professional Silent | CM Storm Xornet
