Putin was robbed of the Nobel

I find it absolutely disgusting that the band of political puppets on the Nobel committee would overlook the deeds of the most deserving humanitarian of the year. Putin was instrumental in preventing an invasion of Syria and likely saved us from WW3. The media driven exaggerated reports of his supposed past killings I have zero doubt influenced the committee but only an idiot that clearly did very little actual research would deem this kind hearted, patriotic family man to be unworthy of the peace prize.

    Ummm...

Sometimes, it's wise ... to... step away from the keyboard and re-evaluate your priorities.

Probably, I am not aware of what he was awarded it for though.

If someone wants to explain (without fucking bias) they can go ahead.

Had to go look up the winners since I hadn't seen a press release yet. I had never heard of the winning organization, but it makes sense I guess.

EDIT: and seriously, all you Putin fanbois need to get off his jock already. You know that given his horrible human rights record he doesn't give a flying fuck about how many people die in Syria, right? He just wants to make the US look bad. So please stop insulting our intelligence with these "AMG HES A GUD MAN WHO STOPPED T3H WARZ!!11111" posts already.

Yes, the former KGB Colonel and current head of the SVR is a kind, misunderstood man. If only he had hired a US publicity firm to handle his image...

    Poor Putin.

Perhaps next time, my Russian brother.

I actually agree 110% with the OP. I mean if Obama can win one why can't Putin?

If the future prospects thing is the case then yes, the same sentiment I expressed earlier applies to him.

So many "lying" news reports about him trying to intervene.

Obviously in an attempt to discredit an anonymous interwebz forum hero such as yourself

Wasn't the most peaceful act of the year. Therefore he does not deserve the prize.

That doesn't make it reasonable to fuck up twice now does it? Learn from your mistakes and what not.

I'd rather have awarded the prize to Stalin had he still been alive.. I mean even he would have been more deserving of the prize than Putin in my opinion. Okay i may have exaggerated just a tad bit but my point is Putin have done nothing to be deserving of the prize.

    Hah.

That's one of the... well it's a terrible opinion let's just say.

Neither "Deserve" it, but saying Stalin deserves it more...

    .
Yeah helping to prevent potentially the start of world war 3 isn't very peaceful at all.

Give it to the school teacher helping poor kids learn to write. That's more deserving.
