What might they be planning for Stormwind? :(

So, some Blizz poster made a thread in the US with the following query:

"Hello denizens of Stormwind – jewel of Human civilization. I have a query for you. When you look over the city and think of it ever so fondly, what feature do you think of most? What is your favorite aspect of the city and do you have any favorite NPCs there?"

I have a very bad feeling about this. Stormwind is my favourite city and I really love it. Only thing I'd change , would obviously be the big crater that needs fixing.

What do you guys think Blizzard might be planning for Stormwind in the (near) future? :/

I guess they're looking to update the city. Add in that Worgen quarter or something.

Though a slight re-texturing of the city would be nice in my opinion, I hate how bright it is. Would like the stone to be a bit darker and possibly integrate some Northrend/worgen architecture throughout the entire city.

Sounds to me like they're genuinely trying to find out what landmarks and NPC's we adore in prep for some kind of city redesign? If they were to change it drastically they'd need to keep familiarity and well loved things in place or risk a "omg they destroyed the park!!?" 2.0

They said they wanted to go back and update SW and Org to reflect post-siege status.

Could be they're looking for NPCs who should get the Gamon treatment (minor NPC, now has a more notable presence in the area)

I doubt it'd be as much "you destroyed the park" as it is "you got rid of Topper!?"

The biggest thing they likely are planning is exactly what to do with the park. So this may be a round-about way of asking what we want.

"We need to know what NPCs and areas of Stormwind you like, so that we can get an idea what can be added to SW that you like."

my bet: blizz will change orgrimmar to fit the new warchief. the spiky-garrosh-iron-buildings don't fit vol'jin well.

Exactly. ORG gets a revamp to look damaged, with more Troll huts littered about to show the new main race of the Horde.

Meanwhile, Stormwind gets the park "fixed" into a new district.
