[ Help with our Blood DK ] PVE!

    His armory:

    http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/characte...heorc/advanced

I think he has one item ungemmed because he recently got it.

Are his reforges good ?? i think he is going full mastery, because in our raid he is doing less healing and damage than our BM monk.

    He has some problems:

    1. Doesn't hold aggro as much as our BM ( he gets over agrroed and cant keep much aggro )
    2. His damage is low, for example he cant even solo the seigecrafter add without help form atleast 2 people
    3. he takes alot of damage

Some logs would help. His armory seems to be ok as far as I can see. So it's probably something in his playstyle.

Although I know that BrMs still deal a consdiderable amount of damage. So it might not be entirely his fault for not keep aggro off of him, especially if he has no vengance up before the taunt.

If threat and aggro are an issue it most likely lies in how he is playing, not the way he is specced. Do you have logs available so we can see how is playing?

We dont have any logs sadly but one thing i dont understand is that he is using heart strike on single target over death strike

Death Strike costs one Unholy and one Frost rune, and Heart Strike costs a Blood rune.

    Or a Death Rune alternatively.

But if he is using Heart Strike above Death Strike he's doing something very, very wrong. It's akin to a Warrior equipping a a sword in his offhand instead of a shield.
And I think it's also a DPS loss by now. But don't quote me on that one.

    Glyph of icebound fortitude.

glyph of dancing rune weapon -> let him remove this-> every time he can use it without glyph he does double dmg en glyph is a total waste

i th ink BM mean brewmonk well these tank have alot of aggro i death grip and taunt to get extra threat and use D&D to take over so im sure i have it
glyph of icebound -> depends on how much beating you get normally you should have more then enough mastery so you dont need glyph

36% mastery LOL let him remove all those haste strength and other crap

head: put a met in it and get rid of crot gem put 320 mastery in it
    neck: remove reforge to start
    shoulder: wrong enchant and gems
    cloak: wrong enchant
    chest: wrong enchant and gems
    bracers: remove reforge
    gloves:wrong enchant
    belt:/
legs : wrong enchant gems and remove reforge
    boots: wrong gem
    ring 1 : ok
    ring 2: remove reforge
trinket 1 : get stamina trinket
trinket 2: other trinket like mastery

IF this is his Tank gear equipped ofc

conclusion : this person has no idea how blood dk's work

    gems to use
Meta: Austere Primal Diamond or Indomitable Primal Diamond
    Prismatic:Fractured Sun's Radiance
Blue:Puissant Wild Jade or Sensei's Wild Jade
Red:Fine Vermilion Onyx or Keen Vermilion Onyx
    Yellow:Fractured Sun's Radiance

    enchants
    Shoulders:Greater Ox Horn Inscription
    Cloak:Enchant Cloak - Greater Protection
    Chest:Enchant Chest - Superior Stamina
    Bracers:Formula: Enchant Bracer - Mastery
Gloves:Enchant Gloves - Superior Mastery Sha Armor Kit
    Belt:Living Steel Belt Buckle
    Legs:Ironscale Leg Armor
    Boots:Enchant Boots - Pandaren's Step
Weapon:Rune of Swordshattering or Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle

    Mastery > Stamina > Expertise (7.5%) = Hit (7.5%) > Parry > Dodge <<-- reforge table

personally : if this guy was a tank in the guild i am in he would be put aside till gear is corrected

Yeah or maybe use your brain before posting a wall of text >_>

Or just check wow-heroes which also saves the tank gear, duh.

His reforging/gemming seems fine, when he gets better gear he should be able to go more into avoidance but for the level he is at right now mastery is probably safer. He could possibly drop some of the stamina gems in favour of mastery or avoidance.

    Answering your questions:
    1. Not holding aggro against a brewmaster is understandable if it's a tank switch, but should not be a problem if played correctly. Make sure he pools his resources so that he is able to use all of his GCDs during the initial taunt period and shortly thereafter.
    2. Hard to evaluate without logs. For siegecrafter in general though you want the tanks to switch as late as possible as to get as many tank debuffs as possible. If your brewmaster is returning and taunting directly after killing his add, the DK most likely does not have enough vengance/debuff stacks to kill his add quickly.
    3. Again, hard to evaluate without logs. Does he actually take a lot more damage, or does it simply feel that way? DKs and BMs are kind of the opposites, with BMs taking very smooth damage due to stagger, and DKs taking a lot of bursty damage due to the nature of death strike. Proper management of CDs and death strike timing would be the only general tips I could give regarding damage intake.
