Good upgrade from a GTX 560?

    What's a reasonable upgrade from a GTX 560 under $400? My processor is a AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 810 Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.6GHz and I have 8g of RAM.

If you play WoW you might wanna upgrade your CPU instead.

I do play WoW quite often, but was going to upgrade my PC for Battlefield 4. WoW runs relatively well at max with the exception of raids and large battlegrounds.

Well if you're expecting to play BF4 with that PC at decently high settings, upgrading the GPU won't help much because the older CPU would in turn bottleneck the new GPU and you'd be back at square one. I'd suggest you purchase a new MB if necessary, a better CPU and just get a 2nd 560 and go SLi for now.{equivalent to a 580} Then when you have more money upgrade to a 770.

Whats the point of recommending him a 2nd 560 with who knows a bunch of more issues like high frame times/noise/crap scaling and later get a 770 which is awful in price/performance?

@Op Just like Khalus said, your cpu will just bottleneck a card with a price of 350-400$. If you would stick to your current CPU and just upgrade the gpu only the benefit would be very minor unless you get a better cpu.

You should indeed buy a better CPU to avoid a bottleneck. What for kind of performance do you want in BF4? With a HD 7870 i was getting 30-40 fps on the ultra preset, without beta drivers, so obviously this will increase when you're running the release product with the correct driver. Im asuming you'd get similiar results with a gtx 660.

You have a rather terrible bottom of the barrel CPU. I made the mistake of buying one too for my budget desktop.
