The Walking Dead Season 2 (Games)

"The Walking Dead: Season Two continues the story of Clementine, a young girl orphaned by the undead apocalypse. Left to fend for herself, she has been forced to learn how to survive in a world gone mad.

Many months have passed since the events seen in Season One of The Walking Dead, and Clementine is searching for safety. But what can an ordinary child do to stay alive when the living can be just as bad -- and sometimes worse -- than the dead?

As Clementine, you will be tested by situations and dilemmas that will test your morals and your instinct for survival. Your decisions and actions will change the story around you, in this sequel to 2012's Game of the Year.

    Key Features:

-Decisions you made in Season One and in 400 Days will affect your story in Season Two
-Based on Robert Kirkman's award-winning comic books
-Play as Clementine, an orphaned girl forced to grow up fast by the world around her
-A sequel to 2012's Game of the Year"

It will more than likely just be a trailer with the actual release date in it.

Poor lil girl lost her hat noooo :/

Here's hoping for more real decisions in this season. Will be waiting until it's all out though, I think. Couldn't bear the suspense XD

What do you mean with "real discussions"?

I'm excited. I hope it's the actual release, and not just a trailer.. but man, that's a short release notice if it is. If it's a trailer, at least that should have the official date on it

Wasn't The Wolf Among Us released without a set date?

Wolf Among Us was definitely pre-orderable on steam for a few weeks before hand.

The Season 1 Walking Dead DLC they only gave a couple of days notice though I think.

You shouldn't think about it...you should do it.

Not sure if I agree with this. I'd rather they focus on one fantastic storyline instead of lot's of half-arsed endings.

Real decisions branch the story a lot. I felt like the choices were fine in the first season, it's only if you read up on it you'd see most of your choices didn't change terribly much.

I'm looking forward to it. I really enjoyed part one of The Wolf Among Us. I felt it had improved on the action sequences of the original Walking Dead game. So I've got very high hopes for season 2.

If I remember correct (for The Wolf Among Us) didn't they have the season pass up for a few weeks then announce the release date for part one about a week before it came out?

You can only buy The Wolf Among Us, or The Walking Dead for that matter, as a "season pass". You can't buy episode for episode. At least not on Steam.

Also, no release date, just the ominous "COMING SOON". Disappointing, in my opinion.

It's not even remotely the same. One is a game about making choices and dialogue in a post apocalyptic setting where the focus is the character interactions, and the other is a horror franchise that, true to the fact that it's horror, has unreasonably many sequels that doesn't exactly get much better for every new installment, killing whatever mystery the series may have had and beating it's dead corpse.

Huh. The blurb below the video says "many months" have passed since season one, which I guess means Clementine is about the same age when we left her.

And we get to play as her?

    Interesting...

Anything more than an year in The Walking Dead universe is too much of a time stretch.

Yeah, I know the show only ever skips a season or two, but never a whole year.

Here's hoping Clem isn't all hardened and pessimistic.
