New Custom Built WoW machine with a budget

My old machine was my first build 8 years ago. Friends have brought me back to WoW (with not nearly as much kicking and screaming as I had anticipated I would have caused) and it's time for a new computer.

I'm sure it's not really feasible for upgrading the current computer, but in case you much more savvy types can make it work, here is the current computer:

8 Year Old Setup that is currently not cutting it.
1 x Antec Solution SLK3000-B Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

    1 x DFI nF4 Ultra-Infinity 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard

    1 x EVGA 256-P2-N518 GeForce 7800GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card

1 x Antec TRUEPOWER2.0 TPII-480 BLUE 480W ATX12V Ver.2.01 SLI Ready Power Supply (Has been replaced in last 18 months - see below)

    1 x AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice 2.2GHz Socket 939 Single-Core Processor ADA3500BPBOX

    1 x OCZ Value Series 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ4002048V3DC-K

    1 x Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive

1 x NEC DVD Burner Black IDE/ATAPI Model ND-3540A - OEM (replaced last year)

    ------------
Last year on the power supply was replaced with something I'm pretty sure I can use in a new build: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 and a new optical drive.

So far my easy solution to rebuild has been to copy and paste what was suggested on Tom's Hardware about a month ago:
    CPU AMD FX-6300 $120
CPU Cooler AMD boxed heatsink/fan 0
    Motherboard MSI 970A-G43 ATX $70
    RAM Kingston HyperX XMP Blu Red Series KHX16C9B1RK2/8X 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3-1600 $57
    Graphics EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2 GB 02G-P4-2760-KR $250
Hard Drive WD Blue WD10EZEX 1 TB $57
    Case NZXT Tempest 210 CA-TP210-01 $40
    Power Antec VP-450 450 W ATX12V v2.3 $40
Optical Samsung 24x DVD Burner SATA Model SH-224DB/RSBS $16

    Total Price $650

Are there any suggestions for a more WoW specific computer or anywhere you feel that article misses the mark for what I'm looking for? Thanks for being such a great resource here!

    Budget: about $650 USD

Resolution: I don't know a lot about resolution. Could use some input here from you all.

Games / Settings Desired: WoW, LoL at med/med-high settings would be a huge jump for me honestly.

Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc) - SUPER basic photo editing

    Country: US

Parts that can be reused - Power Supply, Optical Drive, Probably case

Do you need an OS? : No, Win 7 on hand

Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)? Nope

You should be able to play at high+ settings at 1080p with this setup without any problems.

Went off of the assumption that you are re-using the Case, PSU and Optical Drive.

4670k with a decent motherboard and a aftermarket cooler to do some overclocking, which WoW greatly benefits from.
HD 7870xt because it is dirt cheap at the moment and performs pretty damn good to boot(similar to the GTX 760 at a much lower price).

If you need a case, the NZXT would work great.

You should be able to play at high+ settings at 1080p with this setup without any problems.
If you must insist on using a non-sanctioned sitting apparatus, please consider the tensile strength
of the materials present in the object in question in comparison to your own mass volumetric density.

In other words, stop breaking shit with your fat ass.
