Surprisingly it's true, the temperature up here is kind of on both extreme ends for most of the year. It's either absolutely freezing or boiling out, and generally transitions quickly between the two temperatures. Ironically I find the heat easy to deal with, sometimes it just gets too cold to even go out for groceries.
