    Which SSD to buy?

So my current SSD, while mostly fine, seems to be causing Windows 7 to freeze/lockup, so I was looking to buy a new one, though I'm not sure which brand to buy.

Current one is an OCZ Vertex 2 120GB. I've heard people here say that Intel SSD's are the most reliable/least likely to cause issues. Is this true?

Samsung 840 or 840 EVO is the best price/performance and is super reliable.

If you can get an 840 EVO series Samsung SSD or a Crucial M500, you should be pretty set. Intel's own SSDs are designed to work with their motherboards natively, so they should also be pretty strong.

Pff, the first Vertex 2 that I bought died in 1 month. Just flat-out died overnight. RMA'd it and got a new one for free (minus shipping costs) and that's what I've been using ever since.

Seeing the overwhelming response though, guess I'm going with that Samsung 840 EVO! The 120GB model appears to only be $99, cheap enough too!
