I'm just curious, I want to see how many people work in similar environments as me and how many people have their dream job.
I sit on my ass all day taking data entry calls (To be fair, I'm only 20 and I'm still studying for my future career.)
My dream job it to be a Graphic Designer/Web Page Designer and possible business owner.
So whats your full time job and what is your dream job?

my current job: nothing becouse my unemployment agency wont fucking listen to me..
my dream job: guitarist for a rock/heavy rock band, i just need some connection i guess.. depends on the band and what role as a guitarist..
since i use atm 30+ hours a week behind my lovely telecaster recording stuff and practising over the last 8-9 years, i hope i will get there some day.

Mechanical Engineer for a custom machine manufacturer (mostly pharmaceutical stuff).
I don't really know what my "dream job" would be. It would definitely be something making a shit ton of money without long hours.

I am a social worker working with individuals who suffer from development disorders and mental illness. I am working toward being an outpatient therapist, which would be my dream.

Currently an IT systems and applications developer. Dream job would be anywhere else where I enjoy my job more than 10% of the time as I do now. With that 10% being lunch. I don't dislike it cause of the work, I love being busy, I dislike it cause I have no interaction with people and no one in the office really talks.
Dream job would be owning a store, repairing and building desktops, and writing custom applications for users. But most computer stores like that don't do well, so that's not a very reliable option.Last edited by Droodid; 2013-11-05 at 07:26 PM.

Current jobs : CostCo Supervisor, and getting extra hours at a ice skating rink.

Current Job: Primary School Teacher (Here, that's 7-12 year old children)
Dream Job, for now being a teacher is my dream job. I am thinking about going back to studying so I can become a highschool teacher (the 12-16 year olds here) but with a two year old kid and being pregnant with a second one, that is kind of difficult at the moment. Maybe in a few years, it's never too late

I've never really had a "dream job", whenever people asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up I never really had an answer.
Right now I work for my dad at our boat dealership. It's my third time working for him, but at least this time I'm not cleaning boats and I have my own office. I don't really have a title though. I just do whatever's needed. Mostly I take pictures of the boats and post them on our website to keep our inventory updated. I also have a vinyl cutter so I make registration numbers and names for customers boats. Sometimes I have to go outside and show a boat like a salesman, and sometimes I need to fill in for my dad and do the closing paperwork for some deals.

My current job is an electrical engineer at design consultation firm.
My dream job would to be wealthy and not have to work. Much like the main character of "Office Space", I would alternate between sitting on my ass all day and doing whatever I felt like doing that day.Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh.
