A game shouldn't sell on it's features as much as it should on gameplay (in this case being completely gutted due to rubber banding and other server related issues) and/or story. When the 2 will more than likely continue lacking from the main game to the expansion one must wonder if it really should be worth picking up. You might argue that features supplement gameplay but we all know that's not true from WoW where we've seen a million features but no real gameplay changes.

I agree, the game play was fine and now with AH gone and all these features, DIII will finally become a game you can play for a few years.

My only large issue remaining with D3 is online hardcore mode.

I think they really should introduce offline mode just for Hardcore, at least. Dying to lag or a server problem is ridiculous. And that sole factor has kept me from bothering with the mode.
