    Upgrading my PC (GFX card)

That time has come again to start thinking about upgrading my gaming pc, looking at my current spec below would you say that the graphics card is the only real bottle neck?

If so which Nvidia card do you think would be best for my system? Willing to pay up to £500 ($800).

    Current Spec
GFX Card: MSI GeForce GTX 570 1280MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
    Ram: Corsair CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9 16GB 1600MHz PC3-12800 CL9 DDR3
    MB: Asus P6X58D-E Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard
    Processor: Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz (Bloomfield) (Socket LGA1366) - OEM
Case: Cooler Master CM690-II Lite Dominator Case
    PSU: GX 750W Power Supply

Edit: I'm thinking of a 780TI but i'm not sure.

wait a few weeks, due to new releases prices are all over the place and in all honesty, will go down in price, we have to see how the after market coolers from AMD board partners work their magic with the R290, that card is the best price/performance and we have to see how well it closes the gap on the 780 ti, if the price is still very good, then we can actually say Xfire those cards instead, they have next to no issues when Xfire and more performance

the 780 may even drop down in price even more, at the mo, dont buy anything unless you really really want something now.

must say, the 570 as a chip is still very good, the newer games are really starting to advantage of Vram, which is the only real thing holding you back

GTX 780 Ti is not worth the extra money over a GTX 780 imho. A GTX 780 is available for ~$500-550 in the US. The 780 Ti costs $700 and is only faster by about 15%. Might even be worth it to go down to a GTX 770 (~$350), wich is only 10-15% slower than the 780.

Compared to your current card, the GTX 770 has nearly double the performance, the GTX 780 slightly more.
Why do something simple, when there is a complicated way?
