Have you been paying attention?
They basically renamed what is currently normal mode to heroic mode so they could name flexible into normal mode, so that all players could feel like special snowflakes and not be put down that they are not even able to be in normal mode raiding.

I am not good enough to do heroic raiding feels better for bad players than I am not good enough to do normal mode raiding. Nothing changes in the difficulty, just the naming. They re-did it, so now it's Flexible LFR, then Flexible Normal, then Flexible Heroic, then 20 man Mythic.

they did indeed reduce the modes, and made a change that I agree with. Flex seems more like normal 10 man in wrath than anything else, so it would make more sense to be the normal. There are many people that don't raid normal, so renaming them would make these people feel like they aren't so bad they can't even do normal Originally Posted by Ohai

6.0 heroic is just normal renamed, mythic is what we now call heroic.

Something I missed. Will LFR, normal, heroic and mythic all have seperate lockouts? If so, that would be awesome.
