    Lvl 100 talent Chaotic Resources = 100% meta uptime?

    Looks to me that Chaotic Resources will give Demo 100% meta uptime at the cost of 30% less damage in meta form.

    Of course it is way to early in the process and things will likely change, but with this talent touch of chaos becomes the DF generator and Chaos Wave, Soul Fire, Doom, etc are the DF consumers. Makes the spec much simpler (too simple?).

    I'm not sure how to feel about the Destruction version of the talent.
    400% increased ember gen but 75% reduced Incinerate and Conflagrate damage?

    Didn't we already bloody learn that lumping all of our damage onto Chaos Bolt was a very bad idea. :\

    Yes, but in this case it's not because Chaos Bolt hits harder to compensate, it's because you can cast them more often. With that being said, I still don't really like the sound of it. I'd rather have a perma-Doomguard!!

    I'm only worried because of how long the cast time is and therefore how easy we'd be to interrupt (both by boss mechanics and players).
    But yes bring on the perma-DG! (:<

    you lose a major source of burst at the cost of (probably) breaking even on damage overall, it'll be interesting to see with numbers finalized

    I guess it's too early to speculate on numbers. They'll be changed before beta, they'll be changed during beta, and then they'll change them again when WoD hits live. Right now it seems that you'll get CB-spamming machine from Destro, nearly-infinite Meta for demo and just a tad stronger affli with this talent. Demo and destro versions of this talent oversimplify both specs (yep, and we wondered how Blizzes could make destro more mind-numbing), but numbers will be fixed.

    In fact, even third talent looks quite ambiguous right now. It's passive, yet it has CD and cast-time (probably for demon-resummoning, but still curious about it). And it's not stated whether this pet replaces normal pet or not.

    Definitely that is the idea. Break even with damage, completely cut burst into meta. I'm a tad concerned about the damage reduction perks of permanent metamorphosis, however.

    I don't' see it being a huge problem. I like the talent, overall., and I think it gives us a fun way to play. When I got to play it on the floor today, Chaos Bolt was only hitting for 13-15k with the item squish, so I dont think it is going to be as big of a deal since it's range isnt between 600-1000k per cast.

    You got to play? Did you perhaps also get to see if the Doomguard / Infernal talent replaces our pet or is a second perm pet?

    No one knows. The playtests are for lvl90, the talents are lvl100. But just on the basis of control scheme I can't imagine we'll have two perm pets at once. They have to be added as new summon options. My big question is if the perm versions will get pet abilities like in the old days, instead of just being bigger DPS sources.

    Personally, i like the idea of this talent, specially with the current 4pc bonus. Immolate > conflagrate > incinerate x3 as normal rotation and you already collected (with 1 crit) 20 embers. Allows you to cast 2 chaos bolt, or just one to use the set bonus and save embers for bigger procs. Obviously, the set bonus will change and all, but i don't think we have seen the final version of this talent... i think its really strong.

    All I know is I have been dying for a perma meta like thing because it is so freaking cool especially with the green fire. On another note I wonder if DA will get any attention at all. hmm

    I like the talents so far although they don't seem like talents you can balance that easily. Oh well, WoD is not even in beta so I'm not going to worry about that for now

    I don't even know how to address this. The expansion isn't even half finished, neither is the progress in the latest raid content for most player and you're already worrying about a talent that will most likely get changed so much, that it will probably do something completely different, once the exp gets released.
    Hell.. who is to say that Chaos Bolt won't become a 1s spell with reduced dmg?
    There will be so many changes that it more than useless to discuss how future talents might work with our mechanics right now.

    Perma Doomguard? That's like having an imp on steroids. And if you don't like that you can simply go with a buffed version of haunt or fun AoE talent. How is this not fun?
