Low level Mage.. Feeling weak compared to others.

Mage hit 60 today, went and did a few dungeons. It really helps having +spellpower on my weapon, im topping damage now. Especially with splitting ice glyph

Basically until ~80 the enemies die too fast for mages

First I was leveling a hunter but decided to level my old mage and I think mage was just so slow killing things.

I've leveled through 73 on my mage and I've been the top of the meters (aside from warrior tanks) through every dungeon. Use all your CD's.

I don't understand how you don't do any damage?

I had the BoA Staff for my Frost Mage whilst leveling and topped DPS is every dungeon,

Now I'm 531 ilvl and do 160-200k DPS easily.

Started to PVP and will come top 5 on damage most games!

Stick at it, Frost is so much fun to play at level 90!

Remember to use your Pet's frost nova as often as possible for the free Ice lances. Once you get Frozen orb your output will get out of hand. In dungeons pop it on packs of 3 or more and you should be able to just spam Ice lance and with the Splitting ice glyph your damage will just skyrocket.

I've been leveling my frost mage lately as well and at 85 I pulled over 30k dps consistently by just magebombing everything and spamming FoF ice lances thanks to Frozen orb and Pet nova.
