[MW] Will I need to regem for Challenge Modes?

I've been meaning to get my CM set for quite some time now, and I'm in the midst of organizing a group with some other guildies who are interested. Now, my question is, will I need to re-gem from my full crit build? I've lasted just shy of 20 Endless waves like this, but I have a feeling CMs will be a different beast.

Will I need spirit to survive? Should I grab some different trinkets? Most MW guides I've found are from 5.2 or before, so I know things have changed. I'm sure Chi Brew in its current iteration would make regen much more manageable.

i'v done all challenge with my MW monk and i only changed my trinkets.
i use Horridon's trinket + Soothing Talisman of the Shado-Pan Assault and i reach the first haste cap 3135 ~
