    Accurate Description?

If I run ping google.com in cmd, is that a pretty accurate depiction of what I'll be expecting when I come back to WoW?

Also, I'm picking up a Lenovo Y510p this week, this test is running on an old 300 buck laptop for school.

Idk, not very knowledgeable as far as latency and that is concerned, how much would I expect it to increase naturally if I run WoW?

    Help a noob plz.

No. Connecting to different servers can (and most likely) will mean different hops and different total latency.

I cannot tell you how your internet will behave because I don't know the path it will take.

You'll need to actually ping the WoW server, not google.

I kind of figured that was going to be an answer : /

It's pointless for me to install WoW on here just for a ping test, coming back after two years, had it on my old desktop.

    Thanks for the info though!

See my post above. It's just from the command line. No installation required.

Let's all ride the Gish gallop.
