PVE to PVP Gear Question

Long time forum lurker here first time poster. This tier I have gone back to my warrior. Rather enjoying playing fury and prot. I'm wanting to branch into PVP on this toon as I used to and rather like it. My big question is what should I get for gear? I know PVE gear scales and with base resilience is it worth it to get all the honor gear or should I just grind out conquest in my PVE gear? Should I just pick up trinkets / weapon? My armory is Scrugg on Proudmoore US. (Sorry I can't post links yet) Any advice would be great.

For world pvp your current pve gear is probably comparable to the honor pvp gear. For instanced pvp I'd recommend going honor since pve gear is scaled down (515 or something) whereas pvp gear isn't. As for what to play you should go Arms as I don't think any RBG teams really want tank classes anymore as FC.

Since you're human you could probably get away with using EEoG instead of the 2x Trinket resil bonus but I'd ask in the PvP forum for more specifics.
