Thinking of buying Diablo 3 on PS3. I got a few questions.

A friend and I are considering buying diablo 3 on PS3. However I was threads about people playing on the same copy instead of buying 2 copies.

Will my friend and I be able to play on the same copy on diffent characters (Ofc on the same console).
If so, does that mean we can play online on the same copy or only offline?
Last question is, can we play together on the demo? (on the same console and demo copy)
