    It was good spell levelling to 80 during cataclysm. Now holy nova is good only for low-level transmog runs. I guess.

    It's funny you mention snake trap, which is one reason Holy Nova > Prayer of Healing.

    Prayer of Healing has also never revealed a stealthed player.

    It was an IWIN button vs melee in WotLK.

    Holy Nova is used to destealth and may have had unlimited targets without getting diluted at some point. It's still useless.

    I have never had this stop a flag cap, are you sure about that?

    And I get sapped everytime I have ever used it to pop rogues.
