Radeon 280x vs Geforce GTX 770

I am looking at both of these graphics cards this Black Friday. I play WoW, BF4, and occasionally starcraft. In your experience or based on your knowledge, which of these two cards would you recommend and why?

I know that the Radeon 280x is a 3GB VRAM card and is running for about 30-40 bucks cheaper at 299.99 at the moment when compared to the geforce gtx. There are some BF4 deals with the Radeon 280x, which are applicable to me since I do not have BF4 due to my computer being a bit of a piece of crap at the moment. This GPU will be going into a new build with an i5 4670k and your typical standard enthusiast stuff. (8GB DDR3, z87 Asus-A mobo, 250 sSD, 800W PSU, H80i liquid cooler corsair, etc.)

Now, armed with this information, please feel free to provide your thoughts. I do not want AMD/Nvidia fanboys! I just want a calm debate/exchange of ideas about these two cards please.

go with 280x if you plan on playing bf4 a lot, the extra VRAM is very nice as bf4 use upto 3gb, i got a 280x Toxic myself and it's a beast in bf4 for wow/sc it doesn't matter, my 5 year old gpu could handle those games easily^^

The R9 280x is the better card with 3GB VRAM it's smoother and has enough VRAM to avoid stutters at high Resolutions. also there's the AMD Mantle which will boost the performance of Gaming but I don't know when its due out and how fast it'll be Implemented into games.

770 GTX for if you want to use extras like ShadowPlay and Physx

Ok and which company should I look into? I have an Asus Mobo, so should I get the Asus r9 280x, or should I look into one of the MSI/Gigabyte/Sapphire ones?

    Doesnt matter, at all.

I wonder the same about 280x vs gtx 770. Since im playing at 2560*1440, i may prefer 280x, but gtx 770 performs better in wow (with that resolution) probably. And i spend alot of my time in WoW and not playing other games.
