My CPU died and i built this. I need suggestions :(

So my 1090T died last night.
    My rig was a 1090T + Radeon 6850 + 8gb Ripjaws from G.Skill.

So i decided to upgrade it and got a FX8350 and a R9 280x Boost from XFX. And a NZXT T20.

    A few questions:

    1. Should i get another 8GB RAM? I will mostly use this PC for WoW, EvE, FM and Crusader Kings 2.
    2. Will i need to change my Motherboard anytime soon? It's a Gigabyte GA880GMA.

I only hope to be able raid @ 60fps+ on 1080p with this new rig.
    Thanks all!

Why would you need 16 gb of ram for a GPU upgrade..?

You'll see barely any performance increase with the 8350. IPC on the core with the 8350 is only about 5-7% faster than the Phenom II. You'll want to ditch your motherboard and go with an Intel solution if you want to further your FPS. A new video card also isn't going to show much of an increase due to said 8350 holding everything back.

    ASRock Extreme3 - Sennheiser Momentums - Xonar DG - EVGA Supernova 650G - Corsair H80i

why would u answer a question with a question?

@op no you do not need 16 gb ram for gaming. I dont think your motherboard supports FX8350. Is your motherboard AM3+ or plain AM3, there are 2 versions of GA880GMA, if its AM3 then no you cannot use your new processor. If you are also buying a motherboard then just get an intel processor+mobo that way you get ~50% more fps (on wow).

Which -exact- board do you have? The "AM3+" "GA880GMA" board I found was the GA880GMA-USB3... which does NOT support the FX-8350. At least according to Gigabyte.
