    Destro Lock Feedback Please

    Hi everyone

I had posted a few weeks back when we was progressing on Sha of Pride heroic asking for help about our Destro Lock back then! She worked with some of the advice given to her and her DPS did notch up a fair bit since then. We have lately been experiencing a big lack of DPS on Spoils of Pandaria Heroic where the damage seems quite low in general across the board compared to our other heroics, so i'm trying to help others increase their DPS with them on this fight in particular. Other raid members have mentioned to me about our Destro Lock still not comparing to other Warlocks in terms of damage compared to other heroic geared Warlocks, so I was wondering if I could get some further feedback that I can pass along!

The main aim is to improve everyone's DPS for spoils for our progression to continue, however, it would be great if I can grab some extra feedback on the others bosses too if there are improvements to be made! Like I said though, her DPS has really picked up from before which is great, but further help and tips would be greatly appreciated You can also PM me a realid so you can talk in-game if you prefer!

    Her Armory is :- http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/characte...celin/advanced

    Thanks very much!

I´d say her DPS is fine if you consider her quite bad gear. (and with bad I mean: holy shit those trinkets)

average chaosbolt + shadowburn seems fine

destros DPS on spoils hc is very depending on the speed you are pulling the mobs. more mobs active --> more dps
So the most ranks you see ATM are guilds having spoils on farm and way better gear and therefore pulling more mobs at the same time --> more DPS to gain for their warlocks.

Anything she can improve further on to help her dps more in general? Her trinket luck is pretty bad, tbh, our whole raid is unlucky on trinkets

The most dps on spoils HC comes from the right use of havoc. don´t use it for anything else than shadowburn. I can´t tell if she is already using it correctly, since that needs a way closer look into the logs and therefore much more time that I havn´t got atm ;D. But she should know anyway if she is using it that way or not

A few tips on Spoils - unsure if you're already doing those, or if anything is different as I'm playing in 25 man myself:

    - Pick up buffs as soon as possible,
    - If the healer buff is present have your healers face the mobs AND sparks (the buff is doing huge damage on both).

Concerning your warlock, I only looked at the 7:20 and 8:00 min fights - so I might be missing a few things but as she was alive most of the fight guess this is still relevant:
    - Havoc should be used on cooldown. I'm seeing for each tries mentioned above only 2 havocs and ~11 shadowburn.
    - Havoc is the best way to increase DPS and utility. Using this on cooldown is a must-do. If she can't shadowburn something chaos bolt or incinerate is the answer.
    - Shadowburn is the other really important thing. It does HUGE damage and also generate an additional ember.
    - Both Havoc and Shadowburn SHOULD be used when possible.
To give you an idea of the numbers, for a 8 min try those should be around 10-11 Havoc and 40+ shadowburn.
    - Rain of Fire should be used often (as soon as there is 3+ adds going to stay inside the aoe for some time).
    - Same for fire and brimstone.

Considering the raid in general this is my own view of what spoils is:
Difficulty is knowing which box tanks can open and when. This will allow you to have much more adds control and know exactly when to aoe, and when to focus.
Second difficulty consists in having the unstable sparks killed fast. Best way to achieve that is having the raid splited in two on vocal, and having one person if each group calling for sparks. I will never emphasized enough on this : ALL range should switch on those, this is the highest priority during the fight.

Your lock might be doing 'less' than usual on this fight, but she is clearly doing a great job on those spark. If everyone is switching on the sparks, she might have some more time to Havoc/Shadowburn/DPS on the boss.
My best guess would be that she is too concentrated / focused on those sparks and pay way less attention to the fight than usually.

As mentioned before I'm playing in H25-man, my PoV of a fight is a 25 man vision which might be totally inaccurate for 10-man !

    Hope that helps!

She seems mostly fine and understanding what to do, probably just not doing it fast enough.
It's wrong to blame only her while majority of your raid is underperforming.
http://www.proraiders.com/player/ and check your whole raid's epeens.
