Longer than normal, and Fake nails on women

Ever since I can remember, I have just been absolutely repulsed by Fake or Longer nails on women. Nails that go past the tip of the finger. It's almost to the point where I feel sick if a woman with fake nails even touches me. Does anyone else feel this way?

"regular" nails and bitten nails I am totally okay with, I just think that a woman with clipped nails is more attractive than one using fake nails or with longer ones.

Before I notice any other features on a woman, I look at her nails and if they are as described above, I am instantly turned off, even if she is extremely attractive in regards to her body or face.

I am unsure why I am this way and no one I have talked to irl feels the same way.

Well, I don't like them either. Fake nails can certainly be creepy, but I wouldn't go as far as saying that they make me sick.

I don't like them either, but not to your extreme. I think I wore them once for prom when I was in high school, and never will again. I can hardly keep polish on my nails for longer than a day.

I used to have long nails but I type a lot so they started to get in the way. Now I just keep them short and paint them black.

I don't see the appeal of genuinely long nails. My girlfriend keeps hers longer than mine and paints them. I like those pretty well even if I think it looks like a bit much effort for my tastes.

I hate long nails, never a thing I could get into. I spent all of my time drawing and playing computer games when I was a kid, so having long nails was extremely irritating and my nails would always just break anyways. I absolutely hate going to hair salons where the stylists have super long nails, makes getting your hair shampoo'd not so pleasant q____q

Not a fan of the rounded or pointed nails, but a simple french manicure on a pretty set of hands is tops. Also, if you are going to file your nails, do it in a place that I can't hear it please. Yuck

I usually prefer shorter nails on women, though on special occasions, and with the right dresses, long nails (probably fake, and with nail art) can look good too, on certain women.

Mine are not any ridiculous or abnormal length, just on the normal side of grown out a little. I agree that ridiculously long nails are, well, ridiculous and most often hideous. Mine never go past a normal length... I'm too rough on them anyhow, I'd rather not be in pain should it break so I cut it before it could get to that point. Fake and all that junk is a waste of time.


Random nail related thing... I'd once wore grooves in a few keys on a previous keyboard from my nails. Even wore a hole in a key. Took me a while to figure what all that was about. o.O But that doesn't necessarily require them to be long.
