For some reason, hunters occupy the lore-space of "naturalists" or "rangers" in WoW, in terms of design, which is why we have pets in the first place. This in spite of two very different archetypes of hunters among the well-known lore, Rexxar (who embodies the naturalist with his almost mind-melding connection to his companions), and hemet Nesingwary, who just likes to kill wild animals.

Well that would have been good if they stuck to it. But the game has in some ways strayed from lore. We can tame plagued creatures who might as well be undead, and engineers can already control mechs a bit. Might as well give them another fun bonus and let us tame mechs like the amy gorilla in un goro and such.

I would enjoy having a Mech Raptor or something. I'd even take more pets with Armor. Currently i believe they're only a few models with Armor. Wolf from Hellfire, Raptor from the Trolls...... Prob missing another or 2 but pets are kinda meh. I enjoy the different models but something more than just different colors would be nice.

Skarr is a robo cat. Or do you mean like, spider tanks and stuff?

skarr has a molten skin he is not a robot cat. would be more like mechanical stuff maybe like the vanity pets we can get but hunter pet versions or something. just some cool addition to engineering or however they implimented it.

Gnome hunters with mech pets is one of the first class/race combos I wanted.
