EVery year my family and I went to watch the new Harry potter movie, but since that's over it's been the hobbit now.
As for old movies, I like watching or reading Christmas Carol. I'm going to rewatch the one with Jim Carrey around Christmas. I loved the book, I love the story. I can recommend the book to anyone too.
"The Nightmare Before Christmas"

A Charlie Brown Christmas, but mostly because Vince Guaraldi was amazing.
Three Wishes for Cinderella and The Frosty are christmas classics here.
My part in this story has been decided. And I will play it well.
Here in Russia we don't really celebrate Christmas. Instead, we celebrate a New Year's Eve, and there are a handful of national movies and cartoons that are traditionally shown during that time, like "The Irony of Fate" and "Jack Frost". However, some of the foreign movies are popular as well - "Home Alone" is a good example of that. I personally also enjoy "Jingle All the Way", it was one of my favourite movies back in childhood.
