Hi lads, just wondering what melle you consider to have the most raid utility and is most wanted?

At first glance I immediately thought Rogue has the best raid support as a melee, but I'm slightly leaning towards Feral Druid.
I'd say ret pally. Hand of Protection, Hand of Sacrifice, Devo Aura, Mastery buff, stats buffs, Lay on Hands, etc
warriors i would say ralling cry and all the bannars are really strong plus the big amount of survivabillity.
The first 3 responses, man... THAT'S how it's supposed to be!
OT: It really will all matter on what the raid comp consists of and what fight needs what.
All melee have different utility needed in different situations.
low on/no healer external CD's? Rets can save everything.
Need constant healing? Enh is pure win.
Need extra burst to kill something? A Warrior is what you want.
I could keep going but you get the point.
Most utility: Warrior or Ret I guess
Able to cheese boss abilities: Rogue
Highest Single target dps: Feral
Raid cooldown: Enh > Feral > Warrior > Ret probably.
Honestly all the melee classes have pretty strong utility nowadays, it just depends on what you need most.
Anything bot monk is the way to go. Each class has their own strength but a WW monk dont bring much of anything :<
Warrior, sure ret has good utility but most of the time you have a pala tank or healer, or sometimes both, so there is really no need for a ret.
DK has AMZ which is a pretty nice CD. Also aoe stun or grip(heroic will of the emperors)... two interrupts(if talented one is a stun too, which came in handy on our 10h comp for nazgrim). AMZ is under appreciated.

A rogue can solo soak almost anything in this game, it's a game breaker class. You can get all the utility of the other melee classes in other roles they can do.
And well, monks have no purpose except being very good aoe damage.
This really, really, depends on the fight, and a bit of a moot point in 25mans.
That said, if i absolutely had to pick the only one i would say DKs are the best to have around with Mass Grip or Stun, Single Grips, 2 interrupts, Battle Rez, AoE Slows, and AMZ. A well played DK is just too damn useful.
Least useful would be windwalker.
@Darsithis, I'm pretty sure Feral can battle Rez too.

ret. it will always be ret.
hand of protection
hand of sacrifice
devotion aura
personal bubble
lay on hands
Deathknight.
*Combat ress
*Deathgrip (make sure to glyph it so it doesn't taunt) some encounter specific mobs that need to be moved.
*Ranged slow (encounter specific for adds that need and can be kited).
*AMS to negate boss mechanics that would one shot other players
*Anti-cc abilities to negate boss cc abilities and continue to tank/dps while other players need to be dispelled or need to eat the duration.
I really wouldn't write off a good Windwalker Monk. They can get through plenty of stuff in raids just like Rogues do, although in limited durations rather than constant damage. I would call that utility, but when it comes to directly supporting other raid members, a good Retribution Paladin or Feral Druid will definitely always be the best.
Anyway, any melee that knows how to play his class will be the best addition to your raid. This does not have to mean highest DPS; it includes being aware of all of their Talents and most of their Glyphs.
