    The Warcraft Books

I am looking for a list (in order) of the Warcraft books. I have never been one for Lore but recently I have this desire to go back to the beginning and check it out. I have searched for a complete list many a time and have found different lists with different books and orders and most are posts from a few years back. If anyone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

Well as said, some of them are online short novels you can read for free on the warcraft website. Some are in archives like war of the ancients, and the warcraft archive.

Many of them are available in e-book format, so if you have a kindle, any kind of smartphone/tablet, or Windows 8, you can get them there for cheaper than physical copies would be.

    Happy reading!

How about we toss in the more relevant comics as well?

Like Return of Varian Vrynn and Pearl of Pandaria.

And plz don't start with whole Medan thing. I know it's cringe worthy, but Cho'gall and Twilight Hammers return as well as Garona is still relevant to the main plot.

Rise of the Horde is probably the best place to start IMO.

Whilst books like War of the Ancuients and Dawn of the Aspects might be set prior to it they're technically time travel stories with modern day characters involved including orcs (Brox, Krasus, Rhonin).

Rise of the Horde details the corruption of the Eredar and the orcs on Draenor
