Anyone else never left the country they were born in?

I've never left Canada. But I've been to almost every single province except Prince Edward Island. Am I missing anything by staying landlocked? I even spent a couple winters in Saskatoon.

Even for vacation? I've been all over Europe, Middle-East and still have a feeling I haven't seen a fraction of the world.

I think it is a sad thing for an adult never to leave their own country.

I guess maybe. I just think Canada has everything I need.

That is not the point of traveling, it broadens the mind and makes you appreciate life a lot more.

Outside of two days in New York, I've never left the southeastern U.S. Not by choice though, I assure you that.

Well, most of us have everything we need in the country we're from. That's not the point though. I need to have an adventure, I guess that's why I play video games

Why not try fishing on another continent?

I guess Canada is a poor choice of country to ask this question since its so vast.

Traveling had a much bigger meaning before the internet. Nowadays, why fucking bother.

    Mostly, for the Mid-West.

Fishing can be a sport. Yet, in my experience, it's the most laid back hobby one can have. Nothing better than a bowl, some tunes, and a fishing rod.

That's a silly question. Are you missing anything? Of course you are, the world is bigger than Canada.

I'm living in the U.S right now, originally from Bristol, England. I've been here a few years for work, but I am thinking of going back. I do miss it, but I've had a great time here.

I've been to 22 countries, and I'll make it 23 next week, not including all the countries where I never left the airport. I think it's really unfortunate there are so many people out there who never get to experience other nations.

So far (not including stops in airports):
    Canada
    USA
    Mexico
    Trinidad + Tobago
    Suriname
    Peru
    Bolivia
    South Africa
    Mozambique
    Tanzania
    Kenya
    Scotland
    England
    France
    Germany
    Czech Republic
    Netherlands
    Belgium
    Finland
    Estonia
    Australia
    New Zealand

    Next week:
    Singapore

'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
    All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

I've only been back to Germany to visit. Lived in other countries the vast majority of my life.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.

I've never been back to the country I was born in. Born in South Korea over 30 years ago and moved to the states when I was 1; haven't had the money to visit Korea since.
