Just saw the film this past week. Pretty underwhelmed by the entire experience. I was excited about it from the first preview, and seeing that Eastwood was directing, I was thrilled.
The whole movie was one spot after another over a period of about 12 years, with a thin story line that was carried decently only because of the quality of people that were brought into it (Bradley, Eastwood, etc.). Bradley did a fine job, although about 1/4 of his lines seem swallowed up in the film, something that should have been caught during post-film editing (similar to what happened with Bane in the Dark Knight Rises).
Overall, just not impressed. It was a good movie, but certainly not worthy of the Academy nominations it has already received.
