Power supply wall cable mixed up!

I am a little bit slow... And for some reason I had taken out my faulty power supply and just left the power cord on the floor.... And it got mixed up with the replacement wall power cord! Does anyone have a Corsair cx750m and can tell me if it's a 13w or 10w thing ( it shows it on the face that plugs into the wall).

    Thank you!

Uhh I don't think it makes any difference. The PSU itself just gets 220v (or whatever it is in your coutnry) from the wall.. there's no wattage involved. The wall cable is just an extension from the power network, isn't it?

Either cable will be fine, don't know about the marking on those cables but there will be a lot more than 13W going through them :P

The wall cable is just a standard earthed 3 pin kettle lead, isn't it?

Yes. It's a standard 3 pin, I am going from 600 w (defective) to 750w so I'm thinking higher would be the one, but the higher is bronze and 600 doesn't have certification

If this is what you are talking about it makes 0 difference as to what cable you use with your power supply.

A standard 3 pin power cable is rated 10A up to 250V, that would be a max of 2500W which is a lot more than you will ever use.

Given that they are used for appliances that draw over 2kW (electric heaters, kettles, microwave ovens etc), you'll be fine

Any kettle cable is fine. Hell, when my friends dad (many years ago) took his pc cable off him as punishment, he just went and literally nicked the one from the kettle
