Can you guys specify which of the 2 ways you're doing it? Gives more info than the raidsize (jumping into pipe or on to pipe).

Tiptoe'ing onto the pipe and then disengaging and jumping directly in the pipe were both working last tuesday.

I debated whether I should share this video, as it's kind of embarrassing but here is my video of our kill.
I present to the hunter community 'How not to do the Jump in the Pipe + Disengage method' (go to 5:30 if timestamp doesn't work)

I left it a little too late for whatever reason (I like to blame non-existent magnets, or aussie latency, rather than my retardation), but it's usually pretty forgiving. That's the only time I ever messed it up. Just try to disengage at the apex, you'll take some fall damage (unless panda) but it's healed up by spirit bond during the belt.
