"Let me answer your question with another, How would you feel if you found out you were a potato?"
Nintendo Friend Code 1049-0261-4082 Pokemon Name - Max
Audrey. It's the same number of letters, same number of syllables, and same alphabetical location as my original given name. Just properly female, and not assigned to me by soul-consuming assholes.
I text'ed a list containing that, and all the other names I researched that fit the same criteria, to one of my friends at random with absolutely no context or explanation and was like, 'Hey, which of these names do you like best?'
And thus Audrey.
One impulsive text reply different and I might have been 'Autumn', hahaha.
Stephen, but I go by Steve, and was named after my Godfather. Which at first glance sounds better than the Roman Catholic saints my Aunt wanted me to be named after(Ignatius Aloysius), but when you factor in my last name is King, well, everyone thinks they're a comedian when they first meet me.
My name is Brian... (and no I am not the messiah).
Philip named after my father, however it's the II not Jr. my parents hate that term.
Kathleen. I'm named after my mum, so also a Jr.
When I was little I thought you had to buy names - and that reusing them was cheaper. Instead my mum was jealous that my older brother was Eamonn IV, so made a Kathleen II.
(Yes, Irish)
Gabriella.
As far as I know my mom only picked it because she liked the name since she was a kid.
Morten, average danish name.
Friends just say Gehco or Morty

Chris (Christopher) and as far as i know there isn't an interesting story behind it.
