DayZ Standalone simple question.

Well, not so simple since I can't find a definite answer - but until earlier today it was my understanding that the Early Access was just that. But now I read and I quote:

DayZ is now available for PC on Steam Early Access for $30. As always, those who buy the early version will get the final build when it launches

So. does anyone know for sure or not if this is true? If so I might buy it after all

I'm confused. Your second statement verified the first, the meaning didn't change. The bolded sentences mean the same thing: It's early access.

Second "statement" wasn't a statement, it was a quote that I read.

Its early access, meaning you are buying the game before its released and getting an incomplete version of the game. You will never have to buy the game again, because you will get every update, including the full release.

Also, the early access alpha will be cheaper than the full release version.

So basically you are buying the full game for cheaper than it will be.
