Posted a poem a few months ago.. Figured I'd post another one.

Keeper of light, skulking around the corridors with your resplendent candle,
You beckon with your brilliance, wayward moths doing a joyous waltz
As they bask in your flame, lapping up the opium, spoon-fed,
Sweet nectar, mental chamomile tea

Yet I seek solace in the dark,
Cavort with moon and star,
Shunning your warmth, your light, your love.

Alas, the night is cold, and darkness blind,
And I yearn for morning sun,
Come around my corner, mighty keeper,
Shine your candle on my soul.

Let me drink in your sun,
Let your grace melt away my sins,
For though foreign it may be,
I beg for your radiance again.
