I would like to make a pun about how the Russian winter Olympics are doing terrible (lets be honest, its Russia)... and how that would make it unworthy of a pet or anything... but who knows, Blizzard does like to make things I need to throw money at.

There hasn't been a SINGLE anything since that one olympics- I HIGHLY doubt there will be another EVER again.

blizzard stop caring about doing mini & special event long time ago. its all about cash shop. this reason why this game is going down.
there excuse if we spend time doing this we cant make more raid. lame excuse .wow used to do more with less dev back in old days and other mmo with no sub supply more content in a year then wow does now a day for 2.
if wow kept 1 dedicated small team for holiday update and other mini event there be more ppl playing this game and also give more reason why to Stay sub then just being in and out around patch.

Blizzard will NOT be putting out an olympic pet this year for fear of riling up the authorities in many countries. Blizzard does not want to be seen as supporting anti-gay laws, human rights abuses, etc.
