I sprained my ankle playing World of Warcraft last night.

So here is what happened I was doing what I usually do, when my cat thought it was a good idea to sit on my feet, I 'shewed' her away in doing so my foot twisted in an odd angle an made a loud pop. It didn't hurt and I continued doing what I like to do, playing video games until I fall a sleep. When I was tired enough I tried to get up and almost fell over in pain.

Moral of the story, let the cat sleep on your feet while playing video games.

Hopefully your injury will heal swiftly! I haven't managed to injure myself severely whilst playing WoW and hopefully I never will. I did manage to knock my knee against my desk a few times, though. I blame that on having long legs combined with my inability to sit in one position for very long.

Proggesing on Sartharion with 3 drakes on 10 man, after the kill I could barely walk from sitting down for over day.

I made a typo when mailing 50.000 gold to my alt once . It manifested in physical pain in my stomach and heart, almost fainted.

I hurt myself once when my chair broke while raiding (no, I'm not fat, that thing was on it's last leg)


A buddy of mine got bit by a possum that was sitting outside his window while we were doing 25 ICC in Wrath, he waited to see if Deathbringer's Will dropped. When it didn't he logged off and went to the hospital like we told him to.

Not due to WoW as I've quit for some time, but I have developed a pilonidal cyst and I think too many hours spent sitting in a chair has caused it.
Other than that, before I got this awesome new chair, I had problems with my back after prolonged playing.

Sat down and pulled a shoulder muscle no idea how.... Another time unrelated to WoW is I was putting my Gears three disk in my Xbox and feel on my haunches too fast and injured my knee. Gaming is dangerous hobby and don't let anyone tell you any different.
