    Druid:Insect Swarm (removed)

The enemy target is swarmed by insects, dealing (455 + Spell power * 0.397) Physical damage every 2 sec for 12 sec.

    Death Knight: Unholy Blight

A vile swarm of unholy insects surrounds the caster for a 10 yard radius. All enemies caught in the swarm take 860 damage per sec and are plagued with a disease that can stack up to 3 times. Lasts for 1 sec per 10 runic power.

    Locust Swarm in game

Anub'Rekhan releases a locust swarm, slowing his movement by 25% and damaging all nearby enemies. Nearby enemies are unable to attack or cast spells.

The other Crypt Lord abilities are not used as well

    Same name different ability

    Beastmaster: Stampede
Calls down hordes of rampaging thunder lizards to explode upon the Beastmaster's enemies. Each exploding lizard does 60 damage.

    Hunter: Stampede
Summons all of your pets to fight your current target for 20 sec. Your pets deal 25% of their normal damage in Arenas and Battlegrounds while summoned this way.

The other Beastmaster abilities are not used as well

    Same name different ability

    Naga Sea Witch: Mana Shield
Creates a shield that absorbs damage by using the Sea Witch's mana. Blocks 100% of incoming damage

    Mage: Mana Shield
Enfolds the caster in a protective shield that lasts 1 min. and absorbs up to 30000 Physical damage, draining mana instead of health. Drains 1 mana per point of damage absorbed.

The other Naga Sea Witch abilities are not used as well
So wait, similar abilities with similar effects and sometimes the same names aren't related, but random lasers, bombs, etc. in Engineering are the same abilities as the Tinker hero?

    Make you a hypocrite?

Also Goblin Alchemist Abilities are not used and no I do not see them giving it to the "Tinker"
    See Drilnos' post.

Insect Swarm and Locust Swarm: Both have insects swarming around the target. Both deal nature damage over time. Both have the same icon.

    Related ability.

Random Engineering bomb isn't the SAME THING as Grav-O bomb 3000. Heck, they're not even the same type of action. One is an item, and the other is an actual ability.

Right "it's the same thing unless it comes to your tinker then it's not." We know

    I can buy this being a descendant of Healing Spray;

    I can even buy these being descendants of Acid Bomb;

However, a Saronite Bomb being the same thing or as a representation of the Grav-O bomb? Nope.

Yep. My opinion based on logic (as much as we can apply to a 'Sword & Sorcery' game, of course) which mirrors the opinions of others, here in this thread. Yours? So far, you're the only one on your 'side' in that particular regard.

Your opinion is based on bias because you ignore leaps of logic in other aspects of the game, but attack leaps of logic with aspects of the game you dislike.

Some of my opinions are biased, some are not.

Ielenia's opinion that I quoted is definitely biased.

What other 'leaps of logic' in the game are so huge as to be comparable to carrying a freaking robot factory in your pocket?

Carrying hundreds thousands of invisible kegs of beer for Keg smash, hundreds of thousands of invsible barrels of beer for Dizzying Haze, and hundreds of thousands of invisible bottles of Elusive, Purifying, and Nimble Brew. While still being able to roll around without any problem at all.

Where did I say my opinions are 100% biased free? At least I can admit to having a biased opinion.

Okay, but its not in Engieering.

But thank you for further proving my point; The Tinker's abilities are perfectly viable for WoW inclusion, and are absent in the Engineering profession.

Hundreds of thousands? Nah, just a few hundred are good enough for a SoO run. Besides, we all re-stock before the fights. Which again is nothing compared to carrying 'a few hundred' exploding robot factories in your pocket. One bottle per use of brew ability, one factory per use of the 'robo-making factory'. A hundred bottles for a hundred uses of the brew ability, a hundred factories for the 'factory' ability. Capisce?

I'm just saying, those with glass roofs shouldn't be tossing rocks at their neighbors' roofs. Saying my opinion may be 'biased' doesn't invalidade my arguments.

And there's that bias again. You can come up with reasons why the Monk's nonsensical abilities work, but you give no such benefit to the Tinker class.

Who is to say that the Pocket Factory isn't simply a combination of magic and technology? Or simply that it is a highly advanced piece of technology?

Remember the Jetson's folding car? Why can't PF be similar tech?

I don't give the Tinkers that benefit because a robot factory is much bigger than a keg of beer or even a bottle. Remember we're talking something almost as big as a house here. You would be right in accusing me of bias if I didn't extend the Warriors and Shamans the same benefit I give monks, but not to that. Sorry.

Said 'highly advanced piece of technology' doesn't exist anywhere in the world of Azeroth, not even mentions. No precedent. 'But tinkers can build advanced technology no one else can't'. No! That is BS reasoning, and you know it.

    Hannah Barbera =/= Blizzard.

robo factory was almost as big as the barracks in WC3.

Geo: Noelle, Ningguang, Yun Jin, Gorou
    Hydro: Barbara, Zingqiu, Ayato

A scale carried over into WoW with the size of the robot factories in the tinker's court. Shit's big.

The goblin towns in Kezan, Lost Isles and Twilight Highlands came out of a box, fully formed. But the pocket factory does not have to be the same size as it was in WC3. It could be as simple as a flat teleport pad that brings in robots from a base, or it could be a contraption the size of a totem that spawns robots as big as companion pets. The point is in the functionality much more than the looks. A spawn point for walking bombs is all it is.

    Edit:

Another thing just occurred to me. This is the branch of knowledge that produces the shrinking and enlarging rays. So there is a viable lore reason a town could fit in a box or a factory could fit in a pocket. Unlike most other examples of the use of hammerspace in class abilities.
