OK, it's a better deal. Not a good deal. And it's still too expensive for a lock and key.

You just said it. Dungeon leveling is more efficient. It also provides better loot/rewards. It gives more achieves. I keeps the player from having to fight for resources while questing (i.e. - murlocs in Westfall or Kobolds in Elwynn Forest). Everyone knows the current questing content is both inefficient and overcrowded. And, for some of us, boring as shit.

I would enjoy it just once if you could formulate a rebuttal without an insult. Outside wealth changes nothing except the starting line. 7M other players already have a lvl 90 toon (or more). So people getting their free ones with WoD will add to that pool when it comes time to grind to 100. Now, here's the best part...

Everyone who buys the expac will get a 90. No one is at a disadvantage.

If you want ANOTHER one after that, then you have to pay for it. So... since we have now established everyone is getting a 90... for free... would you like to give me a valid argument, or would you rather continue INSULTING those of us who are not income challenged?
You cannot sell something if it doesn't give an advantage. People may well get one with the expansion but I suspect that will be limited to pre orders. The valid argument is that outside wealth should never affect the experience in game.

That's just it. You're encouraged to pay full price of a brand new game to skip content. THAT'S INSANE.

I have a problem with the fact that blizzard would rather people pay them 60 dollars to skip content, rather than them actually making leveling interesting by refreshing it every once in a while. Non-sub based games like guild wars allows you to play at max level, for free if you don't want to level up. Guild wars 2 keeps all content relative by scaling your character to the zone you're in, also allows you to play at max level for pvp if you so wish. Instead of adding something like that to wow, blizzard would rather just cash grab by exploiting peoples boredom with a 10 year old game. It's disgusting.

Right. If a large part of your game is really REALLY not fun anymore (which most people agree), you change it in an expansion. You don't charge people not to play it.

    60$ is just fine.

But whats the alternative? Blizzard actually make skill affect in game experience?

The boost comes with a full set of gear doesnt it? Where's all the people who said they'd quit when blizzard sold gear. I want to see the backpedaling and goalpost moving

Every car has to be exact, and be under a specific quality. This insures a fair race. But, the mechanics and engineers on the team find ways to streamline the airflow, make the tires last longer, make the gas go further, and ultimately win the race. But, according to the vehicle inspection and specifications, the are all using the same car, with the same motor, and the same type of tires.

Nothing in this world is fair, and I will not feel guilty about paying for an optional service that someone else can't afford. It is not my personal responsibility to make sure everyone has an extra $60 that month just to pay for an optional service.

exactly. This is why we also need Starter sets of Raiding gear.

Let's be honest, grinding for a starter set to get into Raiding is boring and terrible. I don't have the time or the patience for all that. I want to raid and I'm willing to pay to skip all that stupid grinding and get into Raiding.

So make it happen, Blizzard! We want Starter sets for Raiders! You offer it, I'll be the first to buy it!

The goalpost moving happened a long time ago when people insist that a max level somehow isnt an advantage, but isnt cosmetic.

"Blizzard will only sell cosmetic gear, never things that impact gameplay"-False
"Blizzard will never sell max level characters"-False
    "Blizzard will never sell gear"-TBD

They have announced you get one with the purchase... not a pre-order. You need to stop assuming shit and start researching things.

Was not aware cosmetic items affected gameplay. Did my Sky Golem cause you to wipe in SoO?
Was not aware lvl 90 was max level in an expansion that goes to lvl 100.
Was not aware you could predict the future since your predictions about the past were WAY OFF.

Wow. I almost fell off my chair with that one. You do know that not everyone in socialist countries lives under the exact same circumstances, right? You do know that socialist countries are some of the most successful on the planet, no? And then the example at the end...NASCAR! BAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Right, but why should it be money that determines your success in a game that already requires everybody to buy the game and pay a sub fee? Why would your progression be tied to dumping more money into a game rather than time/effort/skill? This is why so many people are appalled at it being in a P2P game. No matter how good I am as a player, any characters I grind from 1 to 90 and gear up will be behind somebody who payed for a character.

I said the Timeless Isle gear just fell outta fucking trees. Why not sell it? Save me 2 hours on the island. I would gladly pay $39 for a full 496 set to get me going in MoP. However, that will likely never go over well since the Pay-to-Win freaks will come flying outta the woodwork faster than a bong at Snoop Dogg's house.

Actually yes a level 90 boost does impact gameplay. I never claimed cosmetic items do, nor is sky golem a bought item.

At ANY level cap, a higher level character offers an edge over a level 1, and they are doing this in MoP when the cap is still 90. Also following the past pattern, a level 90 will be able to max professions in WoD at 675 and make level 100 gear.

Those people that are mad that it's too expensive. If you can pay the sub just play the character to 90, it's a joke to level up nowadays. I can get on right now make a new priest go holy/disc and level up through dungeons exclusively. I would hit level 90 without heirlooms by the end of the week, and that's taking it easy.

getting a lvl 90 in a lvl 100 expansion is success? Wow. You set your bar pretty friggin low. 7M players have lvl 90s and will be racing to lvl 100 when the content drops. 7M players will also have to level a free 90 that came with WoD unless they save it for the next expac to use on the new class. So tell me smart guy, HOW MANY LVL 100 PLAYERS WILL GIVE A FLYING FUCK THAT A BUNCH OF LVL 90 TOONS JUST GOT BOUGHT? My guess.... ZERO.

Exactly, they attempt to create a fair race where everyone is equal. This is the exact opposite of that situation. The entire basis of on line gaming is everyone is the same, as soon as you stray from that it becomes P2W. Up to this point you could strongly argue that everyone in game has equal opportunities. Now, this is no longer the case.

And the person who is lvl 1 has THE SAME OPTION AVAILABLE to boost to 90. Until we seem Blizz say, "NO WAY DUDE. YOU ARE LVL 1 AND CANNOT BUY ANYTHING IN THE STORE!", I will tell that person to pay for the boost, or stfu.
