Sha Crystal Farming!

Hello everyone! I made a guide on how you farm Sha Crystals! I've not seen someone make a guide like this, and I've been doing it for awhile. So I wanted to make a guide to show people how it can be done.

First, you MUST be an enchanter for this guide to be useful to you. You will be disenchanting all epic drops from the "original" Mists of Pandaria LFR raids.

Enchanting can be a great profession and easy to make money selling Sha Crystals. There's a few ways of doing it, such as going to the timeless isle and DEing the tokens you get, but there's also others.


I made a guide on how to farm Sha Crystals by running the old LFR raids. The timeless isle would be faster if you have multiple enchanters of every armor type, but not everyone has the luxury to do that. There's also the issue of playing on a populated server where spawns can be heavily contested.

So the guide I made is mainly for people who don't have access to more than one enchanter. It takes some setup work to do, but I have been doing this for months, and it's netted me a lot of gold for just a couple hours of work.

You will also want to make sure you have at least 16 Elder Charms of Good Fortune with you. There are 16 bosses, so this will let you use a bonus roll on each boss for another chance to get an epic to disenchant!

Yeah that's if they are just sold purely on the AH. Making them into enchants tends to be more profitable. I also got about 500 Gold just running the raids (from the bags, mobs, gold for raid completion, etc.).

You can also get quite a bit of gold simply running the Troves of the Thunder King scenario in order to get the Elder Charms, but that's a different story. =)

Sadly my only character who is an enchanter wears plate. So I would have to hope for plate armor (or accessories) to drops, so I could disenchant those.

3.5k in 2 hours is no where near worth it. Sure the number can fluctuate depending on how many drops you get, but you could make as much just grinding with potion of lucks.

Pretty much what he said. I have an enchanter for every armor type so I go to the isle and clear the full frog camp in a about one minute and pull 2-6 timeless pieces per clear. Plus once I finish grinding on those I can just head over to the chests and spend the 10,000-15,000 timeless coin that I get from grinding.

Though that's being done on a 562 spriest with chi-ji.

Yep, and actually I think the best thing is to use Potions of Treasure finding, get a tailor, and farm for Embersilk and Hypnotic Dust to make Embersilk bags (which go for around 400 Gold on my server).

However, this is more about actually getting the Sha Crystals themselves. =)

16 crystals/2 hrs is like 600g/hr...and you have to deal with the retardations of lfr, can't put a price on that.

I've been surviving off of the extra Dark Shaman sets that I've been getting on my shaman, they disenchant for like 10 sha crystals at least for me usually, not the greatest way to get them, but it works if you're a shaman lol

Just trying to add some credibility to the method. I've seen people get called out by not showing evidence in their guides. That's why I included the footage. Sorry it seems to have pissed you off.

Join a guild with the enchanting proc talent unlocked.
X-Realm to an empty server.
Head to Timeless Isle.
Get all the Island buffs, Chi-ji especially.
AoE farm elites.
Send BoA tokens to your enchanter that match their armour specialisation, also the trinket, cloak, neck and ring tokens.
DE the epics.
Profit + enough lesser charms to last until WoD.

yea i get much more from timeless isle and then i turn 3 crystals into a bracer enchant and the enchants sell for 475g each on my server...

totally worth the lil effort and time.
iv done this same thing for years, just run dungeons all day and DE all epics and anything else that sells for less then its enchanting mats, IE i sell weapons to venders(worth more that way usually)

farming in one place all day even sounds tragically boring. competing for tags is stupid too, unless its done the way rares are on the timeless isle.
farming mobs w/ pots of luck is profitable when NO-ONES around but that's PURELY SITUATIONAL.

this guys right though, sure fire way to make gold effortlessly...unless the average 5 man or LFR is to much hard for you, personally I enjoy the constant change of scenery with this method of farming crystal

Don't worry, I knew that feel for a while, I honestly only got the set like, last month, but then it proceeded to drop for like the next 2 weeks after on me

Also I haven't watch the video (was at work earlier), but I think people are dismissing the fact that there's also the satchels that can contain rare stuff sometimes, and LFR pets when you're doing ToT RF and up, which also net money, and Timeless Isle has a limited amount of easy to obtain tokens, after all the chests are gone you have to wait on rares and hope they drop the right tokens for you to d/e.
