Can crusaders use 2h without shield?

From what I can gleam about their talents etc it looks like a big fat no, but anyone on the closed beta tried with any success?

They can't dual wield, but they can carry a 2-handed weapon in one hand (with a shield!) with the Heavenly Strength passive ability.

Here's a list of what the Crusader can slaughter demons with.

I know they technically can use a 2hander without shiled, but they don't get the 30% reduced damage that monks/barbs get and 90% of their passives are shield related, there's also no equivalent of Heavenly Strength that supports a 2hander no shield setup, that's more what is concerning me

Nope, you CAN use a 2h with no shield, but you really really shouldn't . There's seriously NO reason not to, Crusaders don't have enough "Must have" passives that if you're making a 2h build you can't find space for Heavenly Strength.

Id say it's the equivalent to barbs using shields. It would be viable, yes. But not near the most farming efficient.

IMO just go for it.

Shields are cool. Don't shun shields, wield your 2h proudly in one hand, and your huge wall of steel in the other.
