I love making gold in this game. It's fun as all hell. A long time ago in TBC I had every single profession capped out and made a *ton* of money doing so, and I'm totally interested in doing it now.
Here's the dilemma: For my needs I need 5 characters at max level. 3 of 5 will be max level: Paladin for healing main in PvE, Warrior for DPS main for PvP/Some PvE, and then a third character. This third character will float and do whatever, but the main purpose is gathering.
I have 4 characters maxed, and currently my gatherer is my shaman. I don't entirely like my shaman to be honest with you and I've been debating about getting another character to take their place, because why go farming if you hate playing the character?
The idea of a druid came into play and I don't like druids as it is -- the two characters I'm stuck with is a rogue for possible stealthing in WoD while farming and a DK or a monk for their insane solo potential. I feel like I would like DK the most, and the others are kinda 'meh' for me.
That all being said, does anyone think the possibility of a rogue or druid would be better for 'gathering', in other words mining/herbalism? Or should I just stick with a DK? I know this is kind of an odd question, but I've been told that a rogue and a druid are OP for stealthing around mobs just to get to a special node then get back up and mount away, but my thought is "Why stealth when I can probably just destroy every mob as well as encourage PvP 8)"
