    staff vs main hand

Hello, I was wondering which type of weapon is better for holy priest in 3vs3, staff or mace/dagger (I do often have high amount of mana left when the game ends). I do like staff designs alot more and was wondering if there is any difference between them and if it is big enought.

You get more int from mh/oh.

MH/OH is better because of the OH enchant. To be honest, it hardly matters unless you're pushing rating. And if you're pushing rating you wouldn't play a Priest this season heh.

Seriously though, if you're trying to get Glad or rank 1 or something go MH/OH, otherwise it makes very little difference and buy whatever you want.

Ask Disc I want tons of mastery so I went with the wand / oh

I saw a few priests at Glad rating playing with the Staff on EU. Fairly sure that when I checked the highest HPriest was using Staff as well. Less Int but more Spirit. But in terms of pure throughput the MH/OH has more Int simply by merit of OH Enchant.

    143 Intellect
    169 Mastery (0.28)
    267 Crit (0.45%)
    1 Spell Power

    versus

    33 Stamina
    282 Spirit
    184 Haste (0.43%)

    and for Prideful it's:

    136 Intellect
    219 Mastery (0.37)
    347 Crit (0.58%)
    2 Spell Power

    versus

    44 Stamina
    367 Spirit
    239 Haste (0.56%)

I personally use a Staff but I'm only an 1750-1850 player.

It only really makes a difference if you're going for rank one.

If you just want a transmog, use the 2-hander, but if you're playing for rating then I'd suggest the main-hand/off-hand.
