Seeing Age of Ultron this weekend. Can. Not. Wait.
12 hours and counting!
Now, do you guys think this will top Titanic or Avatar as the highest grossing film of all time?
Avatar $2,787,965,087
Titanic $2,186,772,302
The Avengers $1,518,594,910
I'm tipping $2.5bil, beating Titanic, just missing out on the top.
You guys are lucky. It comes out on the 30th here in Greece. I'll watch it on the 2nd though. Might aswell not visit this thread from tomorrow until then.
I'm betting 1.7B max with SW edging it out at 1.8B.
Forbes contributor says the film feels like it's just going through the motions
and checking all of the mandatory boxes without being boring or more fun than the
original.
And Daredevil got picked up for a second season! But DeKnight isn't coming back,
unfortunately.
http://marvel.com/news/tv/24478/netf...#ixzz3XzjbHMID“While previous commitments unfortunately prevent me from continuing on with Daredevil into its second season," DeKnight explains, "I could not be happier that Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez are carrying the torch. They were invaluable collaborators during our first season, and I for one can't wait to see what they do with the show moving forward."
age of ultron is less fun then the avengers. its a more emotional movie meant to show the avengers breaking apart.
its kind of the empires strikes back of the avengers movies. so reviews wont be as good for it since alot of reviewers will be expecting the fun fist pumping-ness of the first film

"Thanks to HeyUGuys, we have the full UK press conference for Avengers: Age of Ultron for you to watch below. It's pretty much just 25 minutes of the kind of questions which will make you facepalm as a comic book fan - be on the lookout for the guy who tells a befuddled Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans that the movie was "Not bad, could have been better!" - but there are also some very interesting tidbits. For example, there's talk of both a solo movie for Black Widow and a hint at what's next to come for The Hulk. Head to the 20 minute mark for that, but be warned of spoilers..."

"I was a normal baby for 30 seconds, then ninjas stole my mamma" - Deadpool
"so what do we do?" "well jack, you stand there and say 'gee rocket raccoon I'm so glad you brought that Unfeasibly large cannon with you..' and i go like this BRAKKA BRAKKA BRAKKA" - Rocket Raccoon

Can reviewers not appreciate quieter more serious films? That's what I'm really looking forward to myself. As great as Avengers is, it's a popcorn flick. It doesn't really toss your emotions around too much.
Reviewers are mostly just someones opinion anyway.
also the video above has SPOILERS
That's why the post preceding it ended with "but be warned of spoilers". Your sensitivity to spoilers is over 9000. Take it down a notch. Don't watch any news or interviews with the cast or anyone involved with the movie if you don't want to potentially be spoiled.
BAD WOLF
Having also just seen it, I do think it's better than the first Avengers though.
James Spader was such a perfect cast for the voice of Ultron
