This exciting new series is an adaptation of the beloved Marvel characters aimed squarely at young adults. This live-action interracial romance follows Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson, two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers while falling in love. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to engulf others in darkness. Yeah, I wondered where I heard the name Freeform before and it's a channel owned by Disney via ABC. I have it on my Playstation Vue. Other than playing recent movies about the same time Redbox would have them, it's like some weird satellite/advanced cable version of the CW.

I haven't actually watched any of their shows, but most of them look really cringe worthy unless you are 10-14 years old. I'll still watch an episode just to see, but I don't think it's going to be anything worth noting. It's also essentially being developed in studio, with Disney producing and airing it on their channel. That doesn't mean bad, but just not in line with most of our tastes. I don't expect it to be in the same universe or even be concerned with that at all.

For anyone interested, it looks like Kevin Feige said other MCU characters will appear in the Spider-Man Reboot.

Question now is, which characters will appear in the film? Maybe they'll do a Spidey/DD teamup? The article though hints it could be Iron Man/Capt America since both actors hinted they were going back to Atlanta soon for shooting, but that could just be for Infinity Wars and the other actors didn't say anything. Russo brothers also mentioned Great Lake Avengers.

freeform is abc family, they just changed the name a month or two ago.

the only show i watch on it is shadowhunters, and yeah its basically like old school cw. (so smallville quality, not arrow quality)

i dont see how the description makes it sound awful though, ive never read cloak and dagger but everything ive seen them in is basically exactly what is said.

we already knew this, the deal with sony allows them to include 1 character as well as allow them to continue the civil war storyline if they want to.

unless things have changed the way it was going to go was spidey would break into iron mans hq and fight him to try and convince him to let him be an avenger and spidey gets kicked out

Civil war just got an early screening yesterday, and it seems overall positive responses. Most say not as good as Winter Soldier but its up there with the best MCU films. Only people i saw that were not as thrilled with the movie both work for IGN. They did say that it worked better than BvS tho so expect a higher score than 6.8 from IGN. Im guessing a 7.5

Marvel screened Captain America: Civil War in 25 cities across the United States and Canada last night, giving audiences their first look at the next installment of the MCU. The results? Wildly positive.
