While it would be cool for Thanos to have a motivation beyond supreme domination, I feel like they will simplify that story and not use Death at all.

i feel like the death thing makes thanos weird. id prefer if thanos was kept weird but he can still be a good villain without it

They revealed that thanos is getting more spiritual as he gets closer to owning all the stones, even losing his armor as symbolism as he doesn't need it anymore when he can throw planets at people.

Impressing Lady Death has always been his goal.
    At least in the comics.

I am a little late to the game, however IMO the best part of the new Thor Ragnarok trailer is Thor and Hulk just shooting the breeze.

I'm just happy Hulk finally has a personality beyond "smash" I was afraid the movies would never move past the whole raging beast hulk.

Cate Blanchett did say that she is a big fan and that she is also doing it for her kids.

Possibily... but we can all hope! I mean, they've already got a character ready and set up to fill that role, and a legendary actress to play it... Seems silly NOT to persue that route.

you mean you'd rather hulk be a plot device than a character?

im sorry but thats the laziest way to use the hulk and its the reason why all of his solo movies up until now have been awful

Yeah Jemaine Clement is probably New Zealands most talented actor.

Karl Urban might be top though, thats a tricky one. - Just clicked how he got this role haha. Being mates with the director helps

I've seen Flight of the Conchords/Eagle Vs Shark, if that's worth extra points .

And of course I've seen Hunt for the Wilderpeople, which was STUNNINGLY good. That was actually the reason I went from Cautiously Optimistic to insanely hyped for Ragnarok, before we even had the teasers.

Flight of the conchords is all from the musical duo of Jemaine Clement/Bret McKenzie. But yeah Eagle vs Shark is one of his, which was ok. Bit of an odd film.

Cool people are aware of new zealand art though, you get bonus points

He actually directed a couple of episodes in season one, a couple in season two and had a cameo in one. Although oddly, breaking his usual habit, he didn't have a cameo in the ones he directed .

    Bonus points, WoooT!

Also, after they released the Infinity Wars posters, showing off Cappy's EPIC beard, someone made THIS

I'm not sure how I feel about it...

I wanna be excited for Thor: Ragnarok, but the trailers haven't done much for me, and I'm getting a bit afraid that Waititi's style will be drowned out by the standard Marvel-flavor.

Ah fair play. Wasnt aware he directed some episodes.

I would love a good metal gear solid movie, that poster artwork is pretty bad ass. Would be an incredibly hard film to do but done right could be awesome.

I'm not totally in love with the way they're taking Thor and Hulk, I thought the banter between them was just a bit too close to Star Lord and Drax.

Yeah, I had never pictured Chris Evans playing Snake... but who knew an editted Infinity War poster could give us the Snake we always had... But never knew about?

A metal gear movie (or better yet, TV show) would be freakin amazing, the lore for those games is insane, but in a good way. I could see someone like Netflix having a fucking field-day adapting them.
