Garrosh 10 N, need help please

    Hi,

We're a casual guild raiding 3 hours per week, and we seem to be struggling on Empowered Whirling Corruption towards the end of phase 2. I don't know if it is healer or dps issue.

Latest logs (includes replay of fight)

I would be appreciate if I can get feedback

    Thanks.

As far as Whirling Corrption, people are standing in the swirly things that spawn adds. That hits for 200k+ and is easily avoidable. Make sure you have a CD for every one too; some people are just dying to no heals.

You have a lot more problems than that, though:

    • You only pulled the boss 6 times in 1.5h? You spent ~50m actually fighting, so ~40m was spent just doing nothing. Pull more efficiently.
    • People are standing in Annihilate. This is a really easy mechanic to avoid. Just don't stand in it.
    • Your DK tank just dies a lot. I can't give you specific feedback, but a Blood DK should not fall over like that, so he can improve majorly.
    • You're getting Empowered adds (adds are dying next to each other) and they're meleeing non-tanks. Don't Empower adds, and if you do, a tank needs to grab them.
    • All of your DPS can push much better numbers.

Here is some tips for your DPS and those Empowered adds.

Warrior: Go somewhere where is no other players or those adds and start taunting them off to you. Dont kill them near each other
Hunter: Same thing as warrior. Distracting shot. Use it
And for Monk, mages and lock: Pick up your add instantly when it comes up from swirl. Kill it alone.

And those Whirlings. (Not empowered, normal) is melee moving out from it? Because they really should not.

    First whirlwind: Monk uses Meditation
Second: Same thing. Another monk uses it
Third: Let shaman run to melee group and drop Spiritlink totem.

This is how your melee can DPS boss all the time, boss have less health when he goes to realm and when you start next phase.

And to make easier kill those MC in phase 2: After every whirling corruption ranged moves to middle. Kill MC. Then ranged moves back to marker with no weapon and nukes weapon down. This is how we do it and it is really easy to kill MC fast.

Also in first phase remember to assing your lowest ranged dps to engineer. No point assigning anyone else.

And btw you dont really have to spread that much for Empowered whirling. Just move out from swirls, pick up your add instantly. If you spread too much you just make it harder for healers to heal. Use your personal cooldowns, banners, healthstones stuff like that to survive it. Tell your warrior to pop defstance for Emp.whirling etc.
